Casio has unveiled the G-Shock 2500 series of watches in India. Inspired by the iconic DW-5000C model, the new series includes resin and metal-bezel variants that combine the brand's trademark durability with a redesigned dial.

The new men's watch models are divided into the plastic GAC-2500 and the metal-coated GMC-2500 categories. The component design is shaped around the concept of depth in shadow, utilizing faceted surfaces, softer bezel lines, and a multi-layer dial.

The Two-Eye Signature dial layout places a small second hand at the 9 o'clock position and a multi-purpose date window at the 3 o'clock position. The Multi-Mission Date feature allows the three-section window to display the date, stopwatch, and setting information. A full-auto calendar manages month-end calculations and leap years through 2099.

Automatic hand retraction is included to make viewing background information easier. Shock resistance, water resistance up to 200 meters, an amber-yellow LED light, and a stopwatch are among the shared technical specifications.

The GMC-2500 models feature a metal-coated body and come with plastic straps or stainless steel bands. The steel-band version weighs 138 grams, while the resin-strap model weighs 68 grams.

The dimensions for both variants are 46.7 by 43.8 by 12.9 millimeters, protected by mineral glass. Casio has incorporated the Shock Release Hand magnetic mechanism in this series, allowing the minute hand to shift upon impact and return to its exact position.

A CR1025 battery powers the watches for about two years, omitting Bluetooth connectivity and Tough Solar charging. The pricing for the men's watch starts at 9,995 rupees (around $105) for the resin model and reaches 26,995 rupees (around $285) for the metal-coated variant.
