سریال هیجان‌انگیز و جنایی جدید اپل تی‌وی با نام Nocturne منتشر شد

Apple TV has a new crime thriller premiering tonight—Nocturne—and early reviews indicate it could be another hit series for the streamer.

Nocturne reviews praise Stephen Graham’s chilling performance as serial killer

Apple TV has a new crime series debuting tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT that sounds well worth a watch.

Nocturne stars Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham, with Graham as a serial killer who makes the show “impossible to stop watching” per The Guardian.

Reviews for the show praise Graham’s chilling performance, which follows his award-winning turn in Adolescence last year on Netflix. Here are a couple quotes:

- Los Angeles Times: “Graham is a great actor and as Walter, he’s as creepy as he needs to be, with some extra creepiness stirred in…he recalls Anthony Hopkins’ Hannibal Lecter”

- The A.V. Club: ”Apple TV delivers a knockout thriller in Nocturne…much like its page-turning source material, the journey is an addictive ride to that destination.”

Not every review is effusive, as some found the series too slow in the early episodes. But by and large, critics find the show compelling.

Here’s Apple’s official series summary, followed by the trailer:

The series tells the story of Jonah Lynn (Liev Schreiber), an ex-soldier turned homicide detective who, tired of working the tough streets of Philadelphia, moves to a small town in western Pennsylvania for a quiet life. But, as the town and his family come under attack from the diabolically cunning serial killer Jurek Walter (Stephen Graham), Jonah must protect all that he holds dear. When the desperate search for Jurek’s last missing victim forces Jonah to send his surrogate daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Zazie Beetz), up against Jurek, how far will Jonah go?

Nocturne is based on the bestselling crime novels “Lazarus” and “The Sandman” by Lars Kepler.

The first two episodes of the show drop tonight, followed by weekly releases through December 25.
