Honor has officially announced its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Honor X8e 4G. Despite bearing a strong resemblance to its predecessor, the new mid-range device introduces several notable hardware specifications that stand out in its price category, most notably a high-resolution 108-megapixel primary camera.

Local retailers have priced the phone at 820 Azerbaijani manats, which translates to approximately 480 dollars. The base configuration comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Processing tasks are handled by the older Snapdragon 685 chip, a 6nm Qualcomm processor featuring Cortex-A73 and Cortex-A53 cores alongside an Adreno 610 GPU. Because of the processor limitations, video recording on the device is capped at 1080p resolution, and connectivity is strictly limited to 4G networks.

Visuals are delivered via a 6.87-inch LCD display boasting a resolution of 720 by 1,592 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness level of 1,020 nits. A punch-hole cutout situated at the top of the screen houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

One of the most striking aspects of the Honor X8e 4G is its massive 7,700mAh battery, which supports 45W Honor SuperCharge technology. Furthermore, the device is built for durability, carrying IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection ratings. It has also earned a five-star SGS certification for surviving drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters and guarantees operational temperature resilience ranging from minus 30 to plus 50 degrees Celsius.
